Mindfulness practice has the ability to transform lives. While the concept is relatively simple, and beginners are able to practice it immediately, the experience of mindfulness develops and grows over years.
Many things in life are simple and easy to learn, yet take years to “master.” For example, the game of baseball is easy to understand and young children have no difficulty understanding the rules. However, a master would say that there is much more to the game in terms of strategy and execution.
Any other skill works the same way. While the basic concepts are simple, there are many levels of understanding that are not immediately known until they unfold in their own time.
You are encouraged to continue your journey in exploring a deeper connection with mindfulness. Mindfulness practice does quiet racing thoughts; it does ease anxiety, and it does promote empathy and meaning in life.
